On 7-8 June 2016 the fifth LUBMAT congress on lubrication, maintenance and tribology will be held at the Euskalduna Conference Centre in Bilbao. Along these same lines, on the 6th, the day before the event, there will be two courses on lubrication and tribology held at the installations of IK4-TEKNIKER.
On the one hand, Professor Ian Sherrington (Jost Institute) and Dr Amaya Igartua (IK4-TEKNIKER) will coordinate the course “Tribology Training Course” the aim of which is to provide basic and general knowledge on tribology and on the performance of different materials (ceramics, polymers, metals…) in both dry and lubricated conditions.
The other course, “Basic Lubrication Course”, will be directed by Dr Robert M. Gresham (STLE) and will aim to offer a basic introduction to the field of lubrication.
These courses will be offered simultaneously from 9:30 to 16:00 as activities prior to the LUBMAT 2016 event.
