One of the main aims of Bureau Veritas Oil Condition Monitoring is to establish, apply and maintain quality standards adapted to the services –research, development, analysis of lubricating oils– offered by our laboratories. The certifications that vouch for us reflect this commitment to quality:
ENAC
Bureau Veritas Oil Condition Monitoring is accredited by ENAC-ENTIDAD NACIONAL DE ACREDITACIÓN (National Accreditation Body), in accordance with the criteria set out in the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 (CGA-ENAC-LEC) standard for tests on the following fluids:
- Fuels and petroleum products
- Lubricants, oils and greases
- Insulating (dielectric) liquids
- Diesel oils
Quality, environment, prevention and safety are an integral part of Lubrication Management’s activities and culture, as demonstrated by the certifications according with the criteria set out in the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards issued by TUV Nord.

Nuclear Power Plant Suppliers Evaluation Group (Almaraz, Ascó, Cofrentes, Garoña, Trillo, Vandellós II)
The Quality Assurance Group of Owners of Spanish Nuclear Power Plants accredits the Bureau Veritas Oil Condition Monitoring Laboratory as an authorised supplier in matters inherent in lubricant analysis.
The Bureau Veritas Oil Condition Monitoring laboratory has been included in the list of Suppliers of the Quality Assurance Group of Owners of Spanish Nuclear Power Plants as a result of the agreement reached at the most recent meeting of the Supplier Assessment Group.
NORIA CORPORATION
Our laboratory has an agreement with the Noria Corporation (USA), a world leader in training in maintenance by means of oil analysis. So taking the Noria technology as the basis, Bureau Veritas is the exclusive training provider for Spain and Portugal.
ICML
Bureau Veritas offers the possibility of sitting the certification exams for the ICML (International Council for Machinery Lubrication) to obtain one of its certificates (MLA I, MLA II, LLA I, MLT I).
TURBOMECA
The company Turbomeca, manufacturer of aircraft turbines, has endorsed our laboratory for conducting analyses.
EUROCOPTER
The company EUROCOPTER, which specialises in aeronautics, has endorsed our laboratory for conducting analyses.
Interlaboratory testing
Bureau Veritas participates in several intercomparison programmes organised by various national and international bodies like the ASTM, GIA Group, IIS-SGS, Stazione Sperimentale per i combustibili, Institut Quimic de Sarriá and the WearCheck group’s own programmes.
Testing standards
The laboratory has a system for updating its testing standards, which ensures that at all times the tests are carried out in line with the latest version of these standards.
Waste management
In its desire to protect the environment, the laboratory manages all its toxic and hazardous waste through an Agent approved by the Government of the Basque Autonomous Community (region).
