Our laboratory has significantly enhanced its analytical capabilities with the addition of two new state-of-the-art instruments: the Metrohm 884 Professional VA and the Metrohm 930 Compact IC Flex Oven. This strategic investment reflects our ongoing commitment to technical excellence, innovation, and the continuous improvement of our advanced industrial fluid testing services.
The Metrohm 884 Professional VA is a high-end universal analyzer designed for voltammetric techniques, enabling the quantitative determination of key organic compounds, such as sterically hindered phenolic antioxidants and aromatic amines. Operating with exceptional sensitivity, precision, and versatility, this instrument is capable of performing multiple electrochemical methods, including Linear Sweep Voltammetry (LSV) and Differential Pulse Voltammetry (DPV). Thanks to this multi-technique capability, it serves as a benchmark instrument for advanced lubricating oil analysis.

Furthermore, the system is complemented by the Metrohm 858 Autosampler, which enables unattended analysis of high sample volumes. This not only boosts laboratory productivity, but also improves repeatability and minimizes operational variability—critical factors in quality control and predictive diagnostics environments.
On the other hand, the Metrohm 930 Compact IC Flex Oven incorporates high-precision ion chromatography technology in a compact, highly flexible footprint. Designed for the routine analysis of anions, cations, and polar compounds with superior sensitivity, it is a key tool for quality control and condition monitoring of industrial fluids, particularly in-service coolants.

Equipped with advanced automation features—including automated sample dilution and a high-capacity autosampler—this system efficiently processes large analytical volumes with high reproducibility. Its compliance with the ASTM D5827 standard ensures the ability to detect degradation compounds such as glycolate, acetate, lactate, formate, and oxalate, as well as contaminants like fluoride, chloride, and sulfate, and additive-related species including phosphate, nitrite, and nitrate.
The addition of these instruments significantly broadens the scope and depth of our laboratory’s analytical services, providing more accurate and actionable insights for decision-making in predictive maintenance, lubrication optimization, and industrial asset management. It also reinforces our ability to deliver high-value-added services aligned with international standards and current industry demands.
Through this investment, our laboratory continues to solidify its position as a technical benchmark in fluid analysis, relying on technology, automation, and quality as fundamental pillars for developing advanced solutions.
